The Melody of Love

The trees sway gently as the breeze skips across the mountain lake

Like the softness of a summer’s rain, a caressing essence stirs me

No more the harshness of a desert parched

Or unbalanced scales of discontent

The power of His loving embrace surrounds me

His Spirit stills my heart and quiets my fears

No more the harassing guilt or menacing fear

The thunder is gone, just the stillness of the night remains

For God so loved – and loved – and loved

His heart knows no bounds, His compassion no restraint

Forgiveness is the song of the redeemed

Restoration the melody of love
